Why I Love Monsters

If you haven’t already guessed by now, I really love monsters. I love monsters so much that I named this book after a monster blog that I haven’t even read. Yet. I’m planning on getting to it soon! I have a box set of the entire Monstrumologist series so I have no excuse. The prompt or this week’s Top 10 Tuesday is “reasons why I love”, and originally I’d planned to talk about something else, but I decided to do a sort of intro to why my blog is themed the way that it is, and talk about my love…

My Favourite Comfort Reads

I feel like right now, we need comforting things more than ever. We all have different definitions of what’s comforting, though. Some people like to listen to calm music to chill out, while I like to listen to things that are very likely to give me a headache. The same goes for comforting books. 2020 Discussion Challenge

Hi friends! đŸ‘‹đŸ» This is just a quick wee post to let you all know that I’m joining the 2020 Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight! The latest news to sweep the book world (at least I think, I’m probably a little behind) is that Stephenie Meyer announced that she is finally releasing Midnight Sun, which tells the story of the original Twilight book from Edward’s point of view and was leaked partially online in 2008. I have currently seen two different reactions to this book being announced: excitement (which is valid) and people saying that it’s the same book once again. I’m not sure where I stand on this book so I decided to have a ramble about it. Is this post a mess? Probably!

Last 10 Books I Removed from My TBR

Happy Tuesday, friends! đŸ‘‹đŸ» One of my goals for this year is to really make the effort to clean up my bookshelves. I have so many books that I have either lost interest in and will never read, or have read and didn’t like. I only want to keep books that I do have an interest in or will likely read again so that I can keep my shelves looking nice and neat. Because right now, my poor shelves are suffering with how cluttered they are. I tend to have two reasons as to why I remove a book from…
